Would Jesus Christ be able to make it in the mixed martial arts (MMA) world?  Can cage fighters be followers of Christ?  MMA clothing company, Jesus Didn’t Tap, has faith.  What started as a conversation during a workout between friends has turned into a company who sponsors fighters worldwide.

Jesus Didn’t Tap is one of the first Christian-based MMA companies.  Fans have been witnessing their logo on fighters’ shorts and ring wear for over a year now.  They sponsor breakout fighters like Patrick “Paddy Mike” Curran (brother of MMA veteran Jeff Curran) who just won by unanimous decision in his national debut.

untitled2This fledgling company even sponsors fighters like Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone who had his first title fight against Jamie Varner.  Cerrone embodied the idea of Jesus Didn’t Tap as he withstood a great deal of punishment and yet never quit, in fact, he never backed down one inch.  He could hardly see and still barely lost by a split-decision to the very experienced Varner.

Jason the CEO of NoSubmit.com (the parent company of Jesus Didn’t Tap) explains, “In Mixed Martial Arts to tap is to quit.”  Jason goes on to say where the company’s name was forged, “Jesus Didn’t Tap means Jesus didn’t quit after going though the worse beating and pain that anyone could go through when He was crucified on the cross. His face was unrecognizable and His body was covered with lacerations but He still didn’t tap so that we could live a joyful life.”

Recently, Tom “Kong” Watson wore this faith-filled brand in his middleweight title win in London, England giving worldwide exposure to a Christian based company.  Jesus Didn’t Tap is continuing to grow every day and shows no sign of tapping any time soon.
